Issue/Introduction

SiteMinder WebAgent version 12.52

During yum update, he is seeing the below in the log. Any idea what does it means? Is there any concern or action I should do?

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/netegrity/webagent/bin/libicuuc.so.49 is not a symbolic link
/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/netegrity/webagent/bin/libicuio.so.49 is not a symbolic link
/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/netegrity/webagent/bin/libiculx.so.49 is not a symbolic link
/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/netegrity/webagent/bin/libicule.so.49 is not a symbolic link

Resolution

"yum should not be checking agent files"

These messages has "no relation with the product" and needs to verify with the OS regarding the messages.

If the Agent and applications are working fine - this is up to the customer if they have to worry about these messages / not.

There might be an issue with LD_LIBRARY_PATH
