Secondary windows hub probe upgrade fails

Issue/Introduction

Upgraded Windows secondary hub via Infrastructure manager update version function after UIM 20.4 upgrade

Before upgrading the hub have successfully upgraded the robot where the secondary hub is located.

However, the upgrade of the hub probe fails.

After the upgrade, the hub probe cannot be started. 

hub was being upgraded from version 7.96 to 9.34

Environment

Release : 20.4

Component :hub 

Resolution

Viewed the files in the hub directory and found some files' extensions of the hub probe became 934 in the upgrade process

For example xxx.dll became xxx.dll.934.

bus_plugin_utility.dll.934
nim_shared.dll.934 

 

Removed the .934 extensions and then restarted the Nimsoft Robot Watcher service after which the hub started successfully

Usually we find that something has the hub files locked like Antivirus that prevents the process from completing.
