JCLCheck Workload Automation CA 7 Workload Automation

Issue/Introduction

JCLCheck Workload Automation is a licensed product. The JCLCheck Common Component is a license-free product, and is distributed with several host products such as CA 7. 

For sites that have both JCLCheck available in the linklist or via a steplib, CA 7 will attempt to load the licensed JCLCheck Workload Automation product.

This Knowledge Document shows how to force CA 7 to load the JCLCheck Common Component product.

Cause

                  

Resolution

Add the following statement to the CA 7 init deck to force CA 7 to load the JCLCheck Common Component product, even if the JCLCheck Workload Automation product is found.

JCLCHECK,JSC=Y

To confirm that JCLCheck Common Component is being used, check the CA 7 started task for the following message:

CA-7.IJCK - JCLCHECK COMMON COMPONENT INTERFACE LOADED.
