When using CA PDSMAN Library Management instead of IEBCOPY, PDSMAN may report orphaned aliases.
These messages may show up in the job output when applying CA Roscoe Maintenance and using PDSMAN instead of IEBCOPY:
FCO100I PDSMAN FASTCOPY PROCESSING ACTIVE ... FCO760W ALIAS ROSACCPU IN INPUT DATASET HAS NO OWNER FCO760W ALIAS ROSETCPU IN INPUT DATASET HAS NO OWNER FCO760W ALIAS ROSPAUSE IN INPUT DATASET HAS NO OWNER
Release :6.0

CA PDSMAN Library Management
When PDSMAN is used instead of IEBCOPY these messages can show up if the aliases were never deleted. PDSMAN reports this discrepancy because it is normal PDSMAN design to report inconsistencies which IEBCOPY does not report. This is a feature of Fastcopy processing and can be controlled by the PDSMAN initialization statements.
The reported aliases should be deleted because they have not used by Roscoe anymore. These names are now all CSECTS within ROTABROS. This will only have to be done once.
See the CA PDSMAN Library Management Administrator Guide(A-32).
