Are files encrypted at rest on the Clarity SaaS service SFTP file directory?
Release : 16.0.1
Component : Clarity SaaS Operations
Consulted with Senior SaaS Management they confirm the regular SFTP server that is used by Broadcom Clarity SaaS today does not encrypt traffic at rest. We have many clients that use an SFTP-based model for their integrations and have been successful given that they don't classify the data as sensitive and immediately remove files after import. Broadcom SFTP design was not intended or supported as a repository of data. If the content of the files warrant encryption at rest, the best way to handle this is to touch base with Broadcom Account Team to discuss available technical options for encryption at rest.
As an alternative you can look into Using Clarity REST APIs.
