Issue/Introduction

Needing to configure SMTP settings on the DCS Manager

Environment

Data Center Security Server: Advanced 6.9.x

Resolution

To configure SMTP settings:

• Navigate to Settings > Integration > Alerts and Notification in UMC
• In the SMTP row, click Edit icon
• In the Configure SMTP dialog, provide the following information:

 

Host name/ IP Address	Provide the host name or IP address of the SMTP server
Port	Provide the port that is used by the SMTP server
From Address	Provide email address to configure notification mail sender's name

 

• Click Save
• Once the settings are saved the status changes to configured

 

Note: Only on SMTP server can be configured
