Issue/Introduction
When specifying a database name other than "mdb" on the Database Configuration page of the wizard results in a failure when installing the Application Server.
The customer wants to change the name of the mdb, e.g. to ca_mdb.
Are there any reasons not to do this?
Where could we have a negative effects?
Where everywhere must be adapted in a running system?
Are there known approaches for this?

Resolution
Renaming the backend database from the original "mdb" over to an alternate name, such as "ca_mdb" is not an activity which has undergone testing. As such, we cannot certify on database name change being a supported task.
