Unable to push polices to API detector appliance

Issue/Introduction

Polices cannot be added to API. The menu item is missing and the item is application detector menu.

 

Environment

 

Component : Enforce

Cause

Missing permission on the logged in user to the Enforce console.

Resolution

In the Enforce console go to System > Login Management > Roles

Click on your user role to modify it. 

Go to the Policy Management tab

Check the box beside "Application Detection Control"

Then log out and log back in with your account role. after granting this role the right permission is enabled to access the missing menu to push the policies to the appliance.
