ENTM - Web interface Error 404 (ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied)

Issue/Introduction

 

Just after the Enterprise Management install (ENTM)

When trying to open the web interface I get an error stating that the page is not available with “Error 404 NOT FOUND “ when opening  http://10.201.200.215:8080/iam/ac  

Cause

Looking into server.log from ActiveMQ

WE see

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied

Component : PAM SERVER COMPONENTS (WEB INTERFACE/JBOSS)

Oracle database 19c

Rhel 8.4

Resolution

The problem is the Oracle password begin by # 

This is what is causing the problem, this sign # can be in the middle of the password, but not at the beginning.

Also another know issue is the symbol $ : the password shoudl not end with $ sign.
