Issue/Introduction

The following messages are displayed : 

CTC4006W Recatalog not done for .BOB.G0009V00   
CTC4007W Catalog indicates first volume is bob123             
CTC4008W Tape system indicates first volume is bob321   

when a filecopy is running and the job finishes with a RC=04.

These messages are displayed

CTC4006W Recatalog not done for "dsn"                                  
CTC4007W Catalog indicates first volume is "cataloged volser"          
CTC4008W Tape system indicates first volume is "copycat input volser"  

because the DSN on the tape you are copying is not cataloged to that tape. The DSN is cataloged to a different volser so it was not cataloged.            
INDISP=EXPDT=7 could be used to hold the input tapes for 7 fays before scratching them.
or if  these files should be cataloged , the RECATLG=ALL could be used in sysin of the filecopy.
