Issue/Introduction
User does not receive a notification to activate their account (Portal user)
Resolution
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue for Portal users:
- Go to https://identity.symanteccloud.com
- Click on "Log in with Symantec account"
- Then click on "Need help signing in?"
- Next, click on Forgot password?
- Input email address used for login
- Complete the questions
- You will get an email with a temporary password
- Follow the Symantec account login link in the same email
- Login to Symantec account with temporary password
- You will be prompted to set up new Symantec account password
- Once completed, you can use the “Log in with Symantec account” button in the Email Security.cloud Login page.
