Issue/Introduction

Got UNABLE to DUB ADDRESS SPACE faulire when executing an "add" or "Update" command from Endevor Zowe CLI.

Cause

Check the corresponing Endevor Zowe CLI report for detailed information.

09:18:34  C1G0548E  UNABLE TO DUB ADDRESS SPACE - getpwnam N504782 UNKNOWN RETURN CODE /Unknown reason code                         
09:18:34  C1G0549I  getpwnam (N504782 ) len(0007) /00000000/0000009C/0B0C00FC/          

Accroding to IBM doc, getpwnam is trying to get user information including user UID (user ID), GID (Group ID) etc in USS.  

C1G0548E is related to getUID failure. 

User does not have valid OMVS segment. 

Resolution

Seek help from site security team to grant user valid OMVS segment, then rerun the Endevor ZOWE CLI command.
