Issue/Introduction

Our SCOM 2016 connector had no alerts this morning - did a stop, and restarted the service. Now the it has been initializing for >10 minutes. Not sure if I restarted correctly.

Release : 4.2

Component : CATALYST CONNECTOR FOR MS SYSTEM CENTER OPS MANAGER

Resolution

SCOM connector eventually came online. 

I explained to customer that when the connector starts, it will pull all the CIs and Alerts from SCOM so that it can process them which could take awhile depending on the number of CIs and Alerts.
