Issue/Introduction

We are unable to login to OC console with administrator credentials due to WASP logs error.

Mar 29 16:43:51:490 ERROR [attach_socket, com.nimsoft.nimbus.NimServerSession] (2) communication error, I/O error on nim session (S) com.nimsoft.nimbus.NimServerSession(Socket[addr=/10.27.5.161,port=59048,localport=48009]): Connection reset

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM OPERATOR CONSOLE - ACCOUNT ADMIN

Resolution

Its seems to be  no connectivity between OC and database.

Ports need to be open Inbound from OC to the chosen database. The wasp probe requires a connection to the UIM database. Ensure that the database ports between the OC and database servers are open.
