Getting below error when trying to connect to Datamaker after configuring new GTREP repository.

Failed to update database "GTREP" because the database is read-only.


It was found that the Service Layer under Security->Users and Groups was configured with the GTService of an old TDM installation that was still running and the GTREP connected to that TDM server was made "read-only".

Thus, the DM was using that GTService service layer url and trying to reach to that GTREP DB to make the update and failing.

Update the service layer URL to point to the new TDM Server installation. If the GTService/TDMService integration is not working, then keep the service url blank to resolve this error.
