Issue/Introduction

Endevor action gets error message ACMR034E  and abend CODE U2225

ACMR034E  #NDVR.RCT.ACMROOT IS IN USE BY ANOTHER USER - RETRY THE ACTION AT A LATER TIME.

The ACMROOT file is used shared. 

Is it mandatory to exclude Endevor from Hourglass ?

Release : 18.0

Component : Endevor Software Change Manager

HourGlass from IBM.

Cause

When Broadcom (ex CA) product produces a U2225 abend, check that IBM product Hourglass is causing the issue.

Resolution

It is not mandatory to exclude Endevor from Hourglass
Apply PTF UI79147 for IBM Hourglass product.
This will fix the issue without the need to make exclusions of Endevor load modules from Hourglass control.
