Issue/Introduction

We are in the process of deploying the new 14.4 cent OS stream 8 appliances to bring into our environments. We have successfully deployed the OVA  on 7 of the 8 appliances but having issues on the 8th which happens to be one of our first appliances being deployed. We have tried to delete and create a new vm deploying the ova but continue to get the same error. "Error detecting local IP address" also " WARN: cannot start the web-ui since a public IP address could not be detected"

 

Environment

Release : 14.4

Component : Identity Manager, Virtual Appliance

Resolution

IP address was blocked on the network.  Client used a different IP address.  When tried to deploy Virtual Appliance again it found the IP and installed without issue.
