Change SpanVA admin login password

Issue/Introduction

A Client requested guidance to change the SpanVA admin web login password.

 

Cause

Corporate Security Requires passwords to be changed periodically

Resolution

1. Log in to SpanVA as an admin

2. Click on "Change Password" at top of the screen right side

3. Enter the current password and in two lines below that enter a new password

4. Logout / Login to test that the new password is working

Additional Information

The password requirements are:

• The password length must be at least 12 characters
• The password must include at least one lowercase letter
• The password must include at least one uppercase letter
• The password must include at least one number
• The password must include at least one one special character

The SpanVA password does not expire.
