How to provide a user with UPDATE access to their MAI menu

Issue/Introduction

I wonder if you can advise how I give someone the ability to use the 'U' (Update) line command on their MAI menu so they can save changes away for later sessions.

I thought it was by modifying the MAI Details panel for the user, but this seems to refer specifically to using the /MSDM view.

Resolution

The user logged off and back on to the region and now he has the UPDATE option.
