Issue/Introduction

The seplpkg tool is a command-line utility that creates a full or offline LinuxInstaller package for the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Agent for Linux.

Environment

The seplpkg tool is available for both Linux and Windows.

Cause

Your organization has a security policy that restricts your Linux systems from accessing the internet or you are unable to access Symantec Linux repository which requires TLS 1.2 or higher. So you’re unable to install the SEP Linux Agent. You need the ability to create and export a full installation package for Linux

Resolution

Download the tool from the following location:

Linux:  https://linux-repo.us.securitycloud.symantec.com/seplpkg/seplpkg-linux-amd64

Windows: https://linux-repo.us.securitycloud.symantec.com/seplpkg/seplpkg-windows-amd64.exe
