There is no data to display in the TDAD Service & Components

Issue/Introduction

None of the Symantec Threat Defense for Active Directory (TDAD) services are showing in Services & Components. Instead it reports "There is no data to display.".

Environment

Release : 3.6.2.4

Cause

SETDADHelperSvc service timed out while attempting to connect to SETDADMySQL service during system startup.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in TDAD 3.6.2.5. For information on how to obtain the latest build of Symantec Endpoint Threat Defense for Active Directory, see: Download Broadcom products and solutions

Workaround: Manually start the Symantec Endpoint Threat Defense for AD Helper Service service.
