How to check if FIPS is enabled for Symantec DLP

Issue/Introduction

When upgrading the Symantec Data Loss Prevention Enforce server to a newer version, the Enforce installer asks if FIPS is enabled.
How do we confirm if FIPS is enabled in the current version of DLP? 

Environment

DLP 15.7
DLP 15.8

Resolution

1. On the Enforce Server, navigate to <DLP install>\config.
2. Open Protect.properties
3. Search for the following line:
   com.symantec.crypto.fips140mode
   
   If set to 'false', FIPS is not enabled.
   If set to 'true', FIPS is enabled.
