Modules sisevt and sisap are not loading while using a debug-kernel on Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Issue/Introduction

While checking the SEP For Linux Agent status, you see that sisevt and sisap modules shows up as "not loaded"

root@xxx:~# /usr/lib/symantec/status.sh

Daemon status:
  cafagent             running
  sisamdagent          running
  sisidsagent          running
  sisipsagent          running

Module status:
  sisevt               not loaded
  sisap                not loaded

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux with debug kernel

Cause

SEP/SES for Linux doesn't support debug kernels.

Resolution

Need to switch to a non-debug kernel.
