How can we search the logs to see if an Alert was generated in AAI?

Release : 6.4.1-2

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE INTEGRATION FOR AUTOSYS

Resolution

You can enable the "AlertGenerator" logger would have to be set to DEBUG in order to see the Alerts generated in the jaws.log in the /<Install Dir>/jboss/standalone/log directory.

 

This is set in the Configuration Tool as shown below:

If you have DEBUG set, you could search for messages like below in the jaws.log:

DEBUG [AlertGenerator] Generating new Alert for jobstream <Jobstream Name>
DEBUG [AlertGenerator] Alert Type is Not Predicted to Finish
