When generating TLS keys in the ISPF Security panels for MOI's UI interface, an issue was identified where the generation appeared to complete successfully but actually did not due to lack of space in the USS MOI install directory. No specific error
message was displayed, but the following message was displayed at the very end of the <user name>-caae.log that is browsed in ISPF after the completion of the generation:
cp: FSUM6237 no space on device for file "<SMPE file system>/install/deploy/<MOI host name>/x86_64/properties/ebcdic/generatedKeys
Mainframe Operational Intelligence
2.0.06 and prior releases
The MOI ISPF panels attempted to generate TLS keys but failed due to lack of sufficient space in the MOI SMPE USS filesystem as shown below:
To resolve this issue: 1) Allocate more space to the MOI SMPE file system and retry the TLS keys generation
2) Review the file list in USS in the MOI SMPE file system and remove any unneeded files and then retry the TLS keys generation.
