We are upgrading harvest from version 12.5 to version 13.0.3 with oracle 11.2, after performing the update with the hdbsetup utility, when reviewing the logs I find that there are no errors in the updateschema.log log, it ends with the complete upgrade:
I00020691: Global temporary table, HARCPMVERSIONTEMP , created .
I00020691: Global temporary table, HARCPMTEMP , created .
**** UPGRADE TO v13.0.3 COMPLETE ****
**** DATABASE AT VERSION 130300 ****
However, reviewing the loadschema.log, I find the following:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-20000: ORU-10027: buffer overflow, limit of 1000000 bytes
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT", line 32
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT", line 97
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT", line 112
ORA-06512: at line 58
My question is: did the update succeed? Will these errors not cause me problems using the tool? It is worth mentioning that the broker raises correctly.
Release : 13.0.3
Component : CA HARVEST SCM INTERFACES (CLI/API/SDK)
The "buffer overflow" error messages you are seeing in the loadschema.log file can safely be ignored.
