CA Spool zfs file permission and sharing

Article ID: 237467

Updated On:

Does the CA spool ZFS file system needs to be mounted in READ only mode? Also, this ZFS file needs to be system specific or shared across the Sysplex?

Release : 14.0

Component : Spool

You will need update permissions to the Spool directory every time you apply maintenance to Spool (PTFs that affect the Web interface modules).

The Spool Web interface requires the swap directory to be updated.

You can configure the swap directory to point to another directory if necessary.

You can share the directory where the Spool modules reside (usually /caspool).
