CA Harvest Software Change Manager

Issue/Introduction

They are upgrading a customer from Harvest 12.1 to Harvest 14.

The 12.1 server was Windows 2009 and SQL Server 2005.

The 14.0 server is Windows 2019 and SQL Server 2019.

On the SQL Server 2019 database, the DBAs had given them a long userid and password.  When restoring the back up of the Harvest 12.1 database from SQL Server 2005, they found the long userid and password were not compatible.  Therefore the Harvest 12.1 database could not be restored to the SQL Server 2019 DBMS.

Resolution

They created a new userid and password "test/test" to complete the upgrade.
