"EMAILID is NULL" message returned by EMAILTO Sysview command

Issue/Introduction

What to do with below error that can be shown when using the EMAILTO command. 

 

 The profile setting EMAILID is NULL                
In order for the EMAILTO user command to work, the
profile setting EMAILID must be set. Example:

SET EMAILID your_email_address

***

Cause

As the error message shows issue appears due to missing EMAILID parm in profile settings.

Resolution

  1. Go to the "Primary Option Menu" and issue PROFILE command. 
  2. Select the "GENERAL" option.
  3. Select the "Miscellaneous" option. 
  4. Find "Email ID" and put in the "Value" column the email address that will be shown as sender email, see screenshots below.
