Rally Administration search for users with Workspace Administrator permission does not display information for closed projects or closed workspaces

Issue/Introduction

System Administration>>Users: Filter value>> Subscription Permission = Workspace Admin.

The results display users who have had their Workspace Admin access removed over a year ago.

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : User Admin page

Cause

This is because the users were Workspace Administrators in closed projects and closed projects didn't display in the search results.

A defect was fixed and the information on how the search now works is contained below.

Resolution

Here are some notes about how this was fixed:

When view/edit user by Sub Admin, the closed workspaces, closed projects and empty workspaces (the workspace which does not contain any open project) will be shown, and the existing user permissions on those workspaces or projects can be viewed and changed by a Subscription Administrator

These closed workspaces and top level projects will be listed at the bottom in the workspace/project tree, after the open/active workspaces or projects

These closed workspaces and projects will be indicated as Inactive/Closed to distinguish with the active ones
