Issue/Introduction

This is an example of Jobstream policy to limit certain users/group to see certain Business Areas / Jobstreams and are allowed to add/delete/edit their corresponding Business Areas / Jobstreams.

Users from group ATAS_Team are allowed to see only Business Areas and Jobstreams starting with ATS* .

Environment

Release : 6.4.1-2

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

First you create a Jobstream policy that gives users from ATAS_Team access to all BusinessArea starting with ATS

Then create another policy that grants the jobstream actions to all resources for those users.

Since they will only be able to see ATS* business areas, they will only have access to the jobstreams in those business areas

Here is the result in AAI when logged in with an user belonging to ATAS_Team

Here is the result in AAI when logged in with an user belonging to CIS_Team

Additional Information

It might be useful to not follow the naming convention of the policy.
The "Simple Jobstream Policy – ATS” is granting access to business areas opposed to the jobstreams. It would make more sense that this policy would be called “Simple Business Areas Policy - ATS”.
