Issue/Introduction

Environment:
UIM 20.4 with ntevl_mcs_template 4.38 and with ntevl probe 4.33, Event Log Include (Enhanced) profile v4.38.1
Robot v9.34 - Alarm Policy alarm set for Windows Events -> Number of Events

Problem
ntevl probe generates many alarms for an existing event id

Cause

Suspect ntevl probe instance

Environment

Release : 20.4

Component : UIM - NTEVL

Resolution

1. Make a copy of the existing ntevl folder on suspect robot that is hosting the ntevl probe

2. Delete the probe on the suspect robot using IM or Admin Console and delete the ntevl folder if it is still present

3. Run a plugin_metric correction against the suspect robot. Note: This will reinstall the ntevl probe and deploy the profiles again.
