Issue/Introduction

Hello,

We have an extra server (called "AutoSys-Naf") that we added by mistake in the WCC configuration tab that keeps showing in the Reporting component when we want to create a new one. This server has already been deleted in the configuration tab, but we can still see it in reporting.

We find out several tables in the wcc database (oracle) that still have this data. Apparently when this server was created by mistake, we generated reports with it and this action created data in the database.

We find out that the server_id column is in three other tables than its main (RPT_SERVER_DIMENSION), which are the following:

- RPT_AS_JOB_RUN_FACT (1382 rows)
- RPT_AS_JOB_RUN_EVENT_FACT (3973 rows)
- RPT_AS_JOB_RUN_STAGE (doesn´t have any data asociated)

As a foreign key, can we delete this data and his children without making any damage to database? Is ther any other table we sould look? Or is it another way to make this server disappear from the reporting component?

I send the images in context of the case in the attached files.

Thank you.

Environment

Release : 11.4

Component : WORKLOAD CONTROL CENTER

Resolution

The following tables have foreign keys restrictions that reference the RPT_*_DIMENSION tables:

RPT_AS_JOB_RUN_FACT (1382 rows)
RPT_AS_JOB_RUN_EVENT_FACT (3973 rows)
RPT_AS_JOB_RUN_STAGE (doesn´t have any data asociated)

Rows that reference the RPT_*_DIMENSION tables need to be removed from the above tables before the corresponding rows in the referenced RPT_*_DEMENSION tables can be deleted.
