New User getting MML0009E RC 157 Reason 0x90C00FD message when trying to sign on

Issue/Introduction

New user trying to sign on to Chorus for the first time receives a MML0009E RC 157 Reason 0x90C00FD error message when they enter a valid ID and password for the host system where CSM is executing. They can sign on to TSO with no issues, but CSM won't let them sign on.

Environment

Release : 6.0, 6.1

Component : Chorus Software Manager

Cause

Missing OMVS segment and GROUP ID association for the TSO UserID. 

Resolution

This error is stating that the user does not have an OMVS home segment and GROUP associated with the user's TSO ID.
