Issue/Introduction

Does the CA SDM application compress traffic between itself and the SQL database server when configuration is executed?

CA Service Desk Manager 17.x

Resolution

There is no compression between the CA SDM application and the SQL MDB database.   CA SDM uses ADO libraries from the Microsoft SQL client to talk directly to the MDB database.
