Shared View Has Different Results for Users With the Same Permissions

Issue/Introduction

A view was shared, but the results of the view differ between users even though they have the same permissions.

Cause

One common reason for differing results on shared views is if the users are scoped to see different items. If you click the Project name in the upper right of Rally it will display your project hierarchy. At the bottom of the list there are options to view items from child or parent projects. If one user has the option to view items from child projects enabled and the other user does not the results of the view may be different. 

Resolution

If users with the same permissions are getting different results on the same shared view check the to see if they have the correct options enabled to view items from child or parent projects.
