Issue/Introduction

When we login the Output Management Web Viewer, some users (ostensibly new users) not able to see repositories in the Advanced Search tab

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : OUTPUT MANAGEMENT WEB VIEWER FOR ALL PLATFORMS

Resolution

Edit wvprofile.properties file to change DefaultAdminID= to a new UserID who serves as the primary Web Viewer Sys Admin

OR carry out a complete re-installation of the product.

 

Additional Information

Also edited WVProfile.properties, changing the Admin user ID to the new Admin's and then recycled Tomcat. The new user/Admin was still unable to change his role to Sys Admin. Then performed chmod 777 on various Tomcat and Web Viewer directories, including the work directory, and that was what did the trick.
