Issue/Introduction

When attempting to run a command through WCC ECLI on an AutoSys server installed on Windows, the following error is encountered...

Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.

StatusCode: 500, URL: https://<autosys_server_host>:9443/AEWS

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

When you issue a command from WCC ECLI, it makes a web service call to trigger the Command Sponsor utility on the AutoSys server to run the command. It sends the WCC user Id as the login credential to be used to run the Command Sponsor. This error typically means the user Id does not have the "Allow log on locally" user right on the AutoSys Windows server, which is needed for the ECLI to work.
