Issue/Introduction

Tasks Module has Slow Performance in 16.0.1 for large datasets, after upgrade, compared to 16.0

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

1. Provide user with View access rights to Task module in MUX
   • Tasks - Navigate
     Project - View Tasks - All
2. Also provide instance rights to projects and tasks and also make the user a project manager on some projects.
   • Project - Task Management
   • Project - Manager (Auto)
   • Project - Edit Management
   • Project - Edit Financial
3. Attempt user to login to MUX and navigate to Tasks
4. Observe couple of minutes for results to come back.

Note: this is done without any filters

Expected Results: It should return results fairly quick

Actual Results: It takes long time for records to come back or the query may time out

Release : 16.0.1

Resolution

DE64300, Fixed in 16.0.1 patch 1  and 16.0.2

Workaround: Apply default view with filters that perform better. Status field is a good option for the filter.
