Amazon Linux frequently updates their kernels. This causes issues running with our seos kernel modules which need to be updated each time.
PAM Server Control, 14.1
Defect: DE516404 Version: 14.10.40.49
Provides an updated set of files which can quickly update for the newer kernel releases by simply dropping the new kernel update in our directory. At this time, you still need to request the updated kernel module through a support ticket but the process is planned for an automated service where downloads for updated kernel modules will be made available once every month. This document should be retired are this automation is in place.
This patch must first be applied before you can make use of the individual automated kernel modules.
Future versions of the autogen kernel modules only require that this patch applied and will run on multiple base versions of the product.
Additionally, if you apply a service pack upgrade to the endpoint you may need to reapply the patch which may require additional Broadcom Support assistance
