Microsoft Edge altering date format based on location OM Web Viewer

Issue/Introduction

We are currently testing an upgrade to Web Viewer to add support for the Edge and Chrome browsers.

We have found that for colleagues based in India using Edge the date format for their reports is D/M/YY.

This appears to be as designed given this is in the manual  : - 

The date format varies based on your geographical location. For example, in the USA, M/D/YY format is
used and in UK, DD/MM/YY is used.

Saying that they currently use IE and the date is DD/MM/YY and using Chrome it is also DD/MM/YY

How can we make the default for all browsers DD/MM/YY independent of location?

Resolution

This is down to the language setting in Edge if it is set to "English (United States)" then the display is M/D/YY 

Changing it to "English (United Kingdom)"  gives  the desired date format.
