Issue/Introduction

We are trying to better understand the usage of variables in the GJTRJARC program, specifically as it relates to year crossover when T=hhmm/mmdd-hhmm/mmdd is used .  Can the program  properly handle an archive date between say 12/26/2021-01/02/2022, that spans the year end boundary?

Environment

Release : 11.0

Component : JOBTRAC

Resolution

The GJTRJARC utility will assume the current year for the dates in the T= parameter if it is specified as T=hhmm/mmdd-hhmm/mmdd (EX:  T=0000/1226-2359/0102).  If you are at Jobtrac maintenance AM01 or later  or have APAR RO23063 applied, you can specify the year in GJTRJARC for parm T=   to cross the year boundary:

Example:  T=0000/12262021-2359/01022021
