Action continues to sit in Failed Paused state

Issue/Introduction

I have configured a flow/process to execute a different action if/when its preceding action fails. However, when the preceding action fails it gets stuck in a "Failed Paused" state instead of executing the action that should be executed when a failure occurs. 

 

Environment

Release : 6.7

 

Cause

This behavior will be observed when the preceding action is configured (in its properties tab) to "Pause on failure". 

Resolution

Uncheck the "Pause on failure", save and run again.
