One of our teams has reported for the last week that their jobs are no longer creating the notifications that they need. The notifications of job failures are sent to an email address which then creates a JIRA ticket.
Our logs contain the following as an example (this specific job is a test job):
[03/02/2022 09:18:01] CAUAJM_I_20216 Email notification pending for job <ISIS_N_SASS-wayne_jira_notify_test-000_CD>.
[03/02/2022 09:18:01] CAUAJM_W_00097 Ignoring email address <[email protected]> on behalf of job <notify_test-000_CD> due to error: <452 Too many recipients received this hour>
[03/02/2022 09:18:01] CAUAJM_W_00093 No email notifications were sent for job <notify_test-000_CD>.
We have a ticket open with our Outlook team, and any further assistance on the issue would be appreciated.
Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)
Their mail system was suspending activity for the id that autosys was using to try to send email notifications. This is something the EMAIL team should look at. See if they can determine why it was suspended. Nothing in the event_demon log appears to suggest Autosys is flooding the system with emails. It is suspected the id is being shared and that somewhere else is where the id is being used is flodding the system.
