DUAS: Server Engine List fails with Object not found error: 600

Issue/Introduction

Dollar Universe node is running and uprocs are processing but Server Engines can not be displayed via UVC neither via the command unicheck.

Error displayed in console.

Error from command line:

Object not found error
command in error!!

 

This started to occur after a UVMS Migration operation where nodes were unregisted from UVMS A and registered in a UVMS B with this kind of command that contained "OAP=0" for Windows nodes:

unims -register -login admin -pwd XXX -mshost UVMS_SERVER -msport 4184 -host DUAS_SERVER -Xservers "IO=10301,BVS=10306,CDJ=10312,DQM=10316,EEP=10305,GSI=10319,JEE=0,SAP=0,OAP=0"

OS: Windows

Cause

When registering a Dollar Universe node to UVMS using the command unims, if you specify the engine OAP on windows, the command succeeds.

But after that, any command related to Engines will fail and engines won't be displayed via Univiewer Console

Engine OAP does not exist on WINDOWS.

Resolution

Workaround: Unregister the node and register it again without OAP engine

Solution:

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.
