CA PAMSC: Check message file permission error

Issue/Introduction

The error occurs on running selang command:

 

PAMSC> nu testu01
(localhost)
Failed to get description for message number 10224
Check message file permissions, and CA Privileged Access Manager Server Control definitions for message file

Cause

seos.msg file under <SEOSDIR>\data is missing or corrupted.

Resolution

stop PAMSC and copy seos.msg file from appropriate language directory in <SEOSDIR>\data\messages to <SEOSDIR>\data.
