Issue/Introduction

This article shows how to create new target with a one or more computers. 

Environment

Release: 8.x

Resolution

In the Console go to Home>Patch Management>Bulletins and Updates:

Right-Click the Bulletin you want to distribute and choose "Distribute Packages".

Choose the Delivery Options you want.

Then click on the arrow to the right of "Apply to" and choose "Targets". You will see the following:

Click on "New" (orange above) and select "Target". You will see the following:

Give the Target a name (yellow above) and click on "Add rule" in orange above. You will see the following:

Choose "Exclude computers not in" (yellow above) and "Computer list" (orange above) and then click on the ellipses (...) in blue above. You will see the following:

Choose the computer from the list on the left side and move them to the list on the right side. Click "OK". You will see the following:

Click on "Update results" (yellow above) and you will now see the computers you listed.

Click "OK" and "OK" again.

You will now see your new target in the policy.
