unable to validate new autosys server in WCC, 401

Issue/Introduction

I am no longer able to validate the server after adding the Autosys WebServices web URL,
 
Error: E190098 GWE-server (web services validation) - A connection exception was encountered:
https://autosys.company.com:9443/AEWS/application.wadl returned status 401.

 

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component :

Cause

Monitor ID did not need the @domain  

Resolution

Customer was able to access AEWS URL using the value for monitor id defined in the WCC configuration page above.

However, the monitor ID was defined as  user@domain

The @domain was removed, and that let the validation complete fine.
