Which operating system command provides the SUSE Linux version and patchlevel?

Environment

XCOM™ Data Transport® for Linux PC

Resolution

The command that should be issued is: cat /etc/SuSE-release. The command output includes the SUSE Linux name, version and patchlevel. 

This would be necessary should the user need to contact Broadcom Support to report a problem.
