Spectrum: Saving InsideView Configuration causes 500 Error.

Issue/Introduction

Saving this page will produce a 500 error and clear out all of the settings and then there is no way to get it working again.   When you return to the page the values are null.

 

Environment

Spectrum 21.2.x

Cause

• This page is supposed to update the $SPECROOT/insideView/SpectrumInsideView.conf file and after trying to save the configuration it goes to zero bytes.
  
  

Resolution

• This is resolved in Spectrum 21.2.8
• On versions prior to 21.2.8 you can copy the SpectrumInsideView.conf file from a machine that has the file still populated to the one where it went to zero bytes and it will be populated again in the UI.   It is suggested to leave the default values on these versions.
